 Nothing Like a Little Chit Chat to Get the Ideas Flowing...

We know that you want to put your best fin forward, whether it's for a brand or an upcoming event. After the initial "hellos," you'll find that we like to start our process with an intimate one-on-one conversation to hash out the details for your project. Meet in person, over the phone, or through email.

A few topics that your designer
& you might discuss:
  • type of audience you are trying to reach
  • size specs of final designs
  • budgets & deadlines
  • the personality your project will reflect



Now We are Ready to Start Fishing! Once the designer and you are on the same page, it's time to get ready and cast the hook. To formally start the process, we ask that you sign an agreement form stating the agreed Time Budget and the Dedicated Payment. It will also let you know how much to deposit for your project.

Q&A    

What's a time budget? It's an approximation of how long it'll take to execute your designs. The Time Budget takes into account your deadlines & how much you can invest into the project.


How are you going to calculate my Dedicated Payment? With simple multiplication: your Time Budget x our hourly rate = Dedicated Payment.

And my deposit? That's 50% of your Dedicated Payment.

What if I go over my Time Budget? No worries. If your project needs more attention, we'll write a revised Agreement Form and continue to work on it.




Pick & Choose, Jerk & Pinch, Refine & Align

This is where all the talking and chit-chatting get put to use. At this stage, you will receive a Catch Sheet with 2-5 prototypes of your design focused around the discussions and information you provided your designer. You can also get an update on how much time is left in your Time Budget. Feel free to ask any time during the process whenever you find yourself curious.


Not quite there yet? Rinse and repeat! Let your designer know what you like on the catch sheet but don't stop there; let us know what you dislike too. Your designer will lend his or her expertise and from the feedback, we'll continue to narrow down and solidify the details of your final design.
